Program Notes

Atlantic Opalescence VI: A Fog Engulfed Harbor at Twilight is the sixth work in an ongoing collection of works for solo instrument and small ensemble inspired by locations on Atlantic Coast of the United States. This composition creates a snapshot of the Boston Harbor, as viewed from Pilot House Park, shrouded under fog early in the morning and represents the sun filtering through fog as the work progress and the hidden sounds of ships shrouded beyond the sign of site.

Atlantic Opalescence VI: A Fog Engulfed Harbor at Twilight was written for Nicholas Tolle.
